What the tide leaves behind

How lost do you have to become
before you can find yourself?

My new novel is available now in both paperback and ebook editions. It is a heartwarming story about a man, a dog and the home - and life - they create in a small village on the remote Irish coast. It's a story of how life shapes us all, wave by wave.

I'll be appearing at the store from 1-4 to talk about my book and to sign copies. The store will have paperbacks to purchase. I'll update when I have a set time for the reading. Registration is not needed.

I was one of the featured authors in the Literary Corner in the Cultural Village all weekend. What a great time! It was great to meet so many of you and get your feedback about the book. We also met a lot of Iggy fans who came to the festival to met James O'Donnell and see his beautiful photos!

Psst. Need some words?

I have a bunch. My freelance writer's toolkit is bursting, in fact. And true craftsman that I am, I treat each one as precious, and promise to go to the ends of the earth to find the ones that will work for you. Whether you need copy for a website, an in-depth article for a publication, a short blog post or any other written material, my approach is consistent – extensive research, efficient interviews and dynamic copy. Call or email me and let's talk.

My Story

My name is Malcolm McDowell Woods. I am an editor and journalist, a communications professional and a university lecturer.
